Amie Ashcraft Social Psychologist and Human Sexuality Expert

Amie Ashcraft received her doctorate in social psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University and her masters of public health in epidemiology at the University of California, Berkeley.  She completed a three year postdoctoral fellowship at the Center for AIDS Prevention Studies at the University of California, San Francisco.  Currently, she teaches in the Human Sexuality Studies department at San Francisco State University and conducts HIV prevention research with women of color for Sociometrics Corporation in Los Altos, CA.
